**Job Title: Painter** **Job Description** The Painter position involves preparing, priming, and painting various components and parts within a manufacturing facility to meet specified standards. You will work with a variety of materials and surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish. **Responsibilities** + Prepare surfaces by cleaning, masking, and sanding as required. + Paint items using appropriate techniques and equipment. + Inspect finished products to verify conformity to standards. + Ensure items are correctly identified with work orders. + Comply with safety and hazardous material procedures. + Maintain accurate records of work completed. + Drive forklift occasionally as needed. + Comply with ISO 9001 requirements when necessary. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in industrial painting techniques. + Experience with powder coating. + Competency in using spray guns and blasting equipment. + Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. + Basic mechanical skills. + Ability to operate a forklift. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1+ years of experience in industrial painting. + Powder coating experience is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a successful and well-respected company located in Lenexa, KS, with great accessibility via highways. It is non-climate controlled, and personal protective equipment such as steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and jeans are required. The shift is from 6am to 2:30pm, with flexibility for additional hours as needed, as operations run from 5am to 4:30pm almost every day. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, Kansas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
