Job Description

Join a dynamic team of 4-5 individuals tasked with chemically treating parts coming off the production floor. You will learn processes such as alodine, anodize (chromic and sulfuric), and passivate through detailed training. This role requires adherence to strict timing-based protocols to ensure objects are properly processed in and out of chemicals.

ResponsibilitiesParticipate in chemical treatment processes including alodine, anodize, and passivate.Follow precise timing-based procedures for chemical dips.Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient production workflow.Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness while handling chemicals.Essential SkillsMinimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing or production.Knowledge of chemical handling processes.Ability to perform time-oriented tasks efficiently.Understanding of WHMIS regulations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with electroplating, anodizing, and chromic sulfuric processes.Familiarity with alodine and passivate techniques.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work at a unionized facility located in Sidney, near Victoria International Airport. The afternoon shift runs from 4:30 PM to 3 AM, Monday to Thursday. Please note that this shift is not transit accessible due to the timeline.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $40.00/hr.
