**Job Title: Painter** **Job Description** The essence of the painter’s role is to paint all items going through the powder coat booth, while maintaining a high-quality standard. This position requires commitment to innovation, integrity, teamwork, and passion. **Responsibilities** + Stand and paint all parts for extended times throughout shift. + Recognize paint color extensions. + Possess good working knowledge of powder coat application. + Operate all functions of the Nordson paint booth. + Keep up in a fast-paced environment. + Communicate ideas and issues in a timely manner. + Adhere to high-quality standards. + Work in a team-oriented manner. + Change a color in one minute and 20 seconds. + Paint manually at 10 feet per minute. + Maintain 5S standards in the department. **Essential Skills** + Previous powder coat experience preferred. + Ability to stand for extended periods. + High School Degree or GED preferred. + Basic computer knowledge. + Ability to read prints. + Flexible work schedule, able to work 10 hours a day for a 4-6 month period. + Dependable and reliable work schedule. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior paint prep experience is preferred. + Skills in painting, paint prep, masking, taping, metal sanding, sanding, grinding, and using hand tools. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy full-time employment with good benefits once full-time, and overtime availability. Safety equipment such as steel toe boots and safety glasses are required. The work schedule is from 6am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
