**Job Title: Spray Painter - Industrial Painting**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Spray Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating spray painting equipment and applying finishes to industrial parts. You will be responsible for ensuring quality standards, maintaining equipment, and contributing to a safe work environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate spray painting equipment to apply finish to parts.
+ Load parts onto an overhead chain conveyor using a hoist or manually.
+ Monitor performance to maintain quality, avoid defects, and conserve paint.
+ Examine materials to ensure conformance to established standards and identify defects.
+ Inform supervisor of defects and equipment issues immediately.
+ Clean and maintain the paint line, spray guns, hoses, and other equipment.
+ Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specifications.
+ Follow instructions as provided by supervisor.
+ Adhere to all company safety regulations, including those regarding machine operation.
+ Cooperate with other employees in the department to maintain a safe working environment.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area.
+ Perform other duties as assigned, including general labor tasks.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
+ Experience in spray painting and industrial painting.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ General laborer experience.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is loud and continuously busy, requiring a proactive attitude. Employees must be willing to seek out tasks if there is downtime, as standing idle is not an option. You will likely work in the Shake Department, which involves handling scrap metal from a CNC machine. This role demands physical endurance for an 8-hour shift, so candidates must be prepared for physically demanding work.
**Location**
This is a position based out of Farmingdale, New York.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
