**Job Title: Painter** **Job Description** As a Painter, you will select appropriate paint or mix paints using automated paint mixing equipment. You will operate hand-held spray guns or other mechanized painting or product coating equipment, paint small items, or apply touch-ups using paint brushes. You'll also be responsible for operating and using related equipment and tools, which may include forklifts, hoists, slings, grinders (portable & bench), hand tools, and a tape measure. You must ensure that equipment remains operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturers' instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, and completing daily check sheets. Reading and understanding job order specifications, blueprints, work instructions, and procedures are crucial. You will maintain work performance levels in accordance with specified standards, participate in process and product development and improvement programs, teams, and safety committees, and perform or assist in other assigned duties as qualified. Required PPE includes hearing protection, safety glasses, safety boots with metatarsal guards, face shield, and other necessary protective gear. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgman, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
