Job Description
Join our team as a Painter! You will be tasked with painting I-beams and other structural metal components for bridges and construction sites, ensuring even coverage. Utilizing an overhead crane, you will move, load, and unload steel beams. Additionally, you will be responsible for grinding steel beams to prepare them for paint application. Passing a tape measure test is required, and attention to detail is crucial to avoid painting marked areas on beams.

Work Environment
The designated area for the paint department is within a bay for painting and loading. As a structural steel company, we emphasize safety with required PPE, including hardhats, safety goggles, and respirators when necessary, but steel-toed boots are mandatory. The workplace balances safety with a friendly and humorous team culture.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
