**Job Title: Painter** **Job Description** Join a leading commercial painting company in the Bay Area for a 3-4 month assignment during Stanford University's summer recess. We are looking for experienced painters who are reliable and committed to delivering high-quality work across multiple locations including Mountain View, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Sunnyvale. **Responsibilities** + Paint, stain, and varnish surfaces using brushes and sprayers. + Use hand sanders to prepare surfaces. + Repair surfaces to be painted, including plastering and sheet rock finishing. + Mix and match paint colors. + Waterproof surfaces. + Refinish furniture such as chairs, bookcases, and desks. + Set glass and apply putty. + Paint signs. + Occasionally hang wallpaper. **Essential Skills** + At least 3 years of recent commercial painting experience. + Comfortable switching locations if needed. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency in interior and exterior painting. + Experience with tenant improvement projects. + Journeyman or apprentice painter experience is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Gain valuable exposure to commercial and multifamily settings, enhancing your resume with experience from a reputable company in the Bay Area. Ensure you have reliable transportation and bring a packed lunch as breaks off-campus are not feasible. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Stanford, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
