**Job Title: Automation Technician** Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Automation Technician for a 1st shift position, working from 5:50 AM to 2:15 PM. The role involves working on the flagship line, editing and programming ABB Robots. Responsibilities + Edit and program ABB Robots on the flagship line. + Work in the programming room to manage robots that spray parts for major automotive companies. + Collaborate with the main programmer to adjust programs using ABB software. + Manipulate quadratic functions and make necessary program edits. + Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as greasing bearings and maintaining cleanliness of the robots on a weekly basis. Essential Skills + 5 years experience editing existing programs on ABB Robots. + 5 years experience with ABB software. + 5 years experience with Paint Robot operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Completion of ABB Training. + Experience with ABB programming from scratch. + Skills in PLC programming and troubleshooting. + Experience with Fanuc control and automation. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $70720.00/yr.
