**Job Title: Paint Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. This role involves working on the 1st Shift from Monday to Friday, with hours from 7am to 4pm. The position includes a one-step interview process that evaluates techniques such as spray tests, gauge and gun adjustments, mixing paints, and interpreting product data sheets. **Responsibilities** + Assist in moving parts within the paint area. + Remove grease, oils, and other contaminants from metals before treatment. + Follow blueprints to ensure precise application. + Mix and apply coatings to various surfaces. + Sand metals to prepare them for painting. + Mask metals to protect areas during painting. + Complete required documentation of daily activities. + Keep track of inventory levels and manage supplies. + Operate hoists, cranes, riggings, dollies, and forklifts. + Perform routine maintenance on equipment. + Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations. **Essential Skills** + Experience with spray and coating techniques. + Ability to work 45-55 hours per week. + Comfortable with bending and crawling around parts. + Proficiency in wearing proper PPE, including full face shields and respirators. + Experience with steel toe boots. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Basic math skills for accurate calculations. + Familiarity with pressure pot equipment. + Strong spray gun technique. + Decision-making skills for effective painting strategies. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience in painting, specifically using spray guns. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned company that offers room for growth and long-term opportunities.
