Paint Tech
Job Description This consultant will be painting classrooms, buildings and any other necessary buildings. They will also be working on light maintenance around campus. Skills and Requirements • 3+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field, with a focus on painting and building systems maintenance. • Experience with interior and exterior painting, including knowledge of surface preparation for proper paint adhesion, and paint application techniques. • Proven expertise in applying a wide range of paints, coatings, and finishes using various tools and equipment. • Ability to mix and match colors, including working with discontinued or aged paint. • Proficiency in carpentry to complete minor repairs to surfaces before painting and perform other preparations, including cleaning, scraping, sanding, and patching imperfections on walls, ceilings, doors, and trim. • Familiarity with using spray equipment, rollers, brushes, and other necessary painting tools. • Able to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with various campus departments and teams to address facility needs and ensure smooth operations.
