Job Description **Role:** Paint Sprayer **Salary:** £Competitive **Location:** Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, (DE13 8EN) **Hours:** Monday to Thursday 07.00 to 16:00pm and Friday 07.00 to 13.00pm, 40 hours per week **Contract Type:** Perm We are looking for an experienced Painter to apply paint to a high level of finish to parts under refurbishment. **What you will be doing…** + Ensure quality requirements are met by working to technical documents and work instructions. + Adapting to a variety of tasks which could include cleaning equipment, mixing paint and other general duties as required in order to assist either LH personnel or any of the various business units on site. + Participate in continuous improvement workshops in order to increase efficiency within the company. Utilise CI tools such as 5S in order to improve the flow and workplace layout. + To read and assess production information for required specification details; working in an organised manner to ensure the task is completed efficiently, to the correct standard and within the necessary time frame. + Carry out general labouring duties in order to assist business units as required across the site + Work to and achieve production targets. **Are you an individual with the following?** + Proven experience as painter + Previous paint finishing and water based experience in an industrial environment + Ability to set and use application equipment + Ability to set and use application equipment + Formal qualifications in paint spraying + Experience in rail or automotive industry Additional Information **What could you accomplish in a place that puts People First?** At Wabtec, it’s not just about a job - it’s about the impact you make.
