Paint QC Tech 1st shift | $20.00-23.00 per hour | Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM– 4:30 PM What Matters Most: Competitive Pay $20.00-23.00 per hourSchedule: Monday – Thursday 6:00am-4:30pmLocation: Winter Park, FL  Temporary – to- Hire opportunity with career growth and stabilityWeekly pay with direct deposit or pay cardWhen you work through The Reserves Network, you are eligible to enroll in dental, vision and medical insurance as well as 401K, direct deposit and our referral bonus program Job Description:As the Quality Control Auto Painter, you are responsible for performing paint repairs, coatings and quality control checks on finished vehicles.  This will include bodywork, sanding, spraying, blending and ensuring paint applications meet quality standards. Responsibilities:Mix coatings with thinner and catalyst to correct mixture, using color mixture equipmentApply coatings to meet coverage and gloss standardsPerform bodywork (Bondo), sanding, buffing, glazing, and blending to ensure smooth surfaces (Paint Repairs)Use paint-related tools including DA Sanders, Orbital Buffers, Spray Guns, and Pneumatic Grinders (Tool Operation).Paint the parts and understand the acceptable quality of finishClean and inspect parts prior to paintingFulfill all painting requirements to include from parts painting to complete vehicle paint, both in solid and metallic colorsCheck all painted materials for proper surface condition and proper paint preparations and repair as required Qualifications and Requirements: Must have extensive experience in vehicle painting, including paint repair, spot repair, bodywork, and vehicle paint preparation.Must be able to meet production requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.3-5 years previous experience with automotive painting.Knowledge of painting, sanding, bonding, and paint mixing.Must possess mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job. Your New Organization: Make an impact by delivering industry-leading specialty vehicles that serve communities worldwide, from fire and emergency vehicles to commercial infrastructure trucks, street sweepers, and consumer leisure motorhomes and travel trailers.
