Job Title: Material Prepper

Job Description

As a Material Prepper, you will be responsible for unloading trucks and staging large materials into carts to be prepped and painted. You will then operate a forklift to move these carts from bay to bay for painters. You will also be tasked with masking parts and performing any necessary wash or prep work required for specific projects.

ResponsibilitiesUnload trucks and stage large materials into carts for painting.Operate a forklift to transport carts from bay to bay.Mask parts and perform wash or prep work for projects.Ensure self-sufficiency while asking for help when needed.Essential SkillsExperience with forklift operation and unloading trucks.Proficiency in paint preparation and overhead crane operation.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in material handling is a plus.Strong attention to detail.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role is based in a large, well-lit shop environment with blast booths at one end and painting/shipping at the other. The facility may have a slight paint smell throughout.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
