Job Description
Pay: $26.49/hr-$29/hr based on experience and shift differential.
Shifts available:
1st Shift (M-F 6am-2:30pm)
2nd Shift (M-F 2pm-10:20pm)
3rd Shift (Sun-Th 10pm-6:20am)
The Paint Line Technician will be responsible for the setup, operation, programming, troubleshooting, and quality checks on the automated E-Coat (Electrocoating) manufacturing line.
ResponsibilitiesPerform daily operational and process controls including daily chemical testing and recording.Monitor systems, parameters, and check and record panel paint quality tests.Rebuild pumps and maintain other support equipment as needed.Perform weekly, biweekly, and monthly tank and system cleanouts as required by established standards.Maintain system operations within set chemical and performance standards.Log all important issues in the daily journal.Ensure all waste treatment discharges comply with State and Federal guidelines.Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.Adhere to all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), and Safety Manual.Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact on quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities.Report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.Essential Skills2+ years of industrial experience working with automated/robotics equipment.Mechanical troubleshooting skills.Proficiency with precision measuring tools.Understanding of quality standards (SOPs).Experience with painting in an industrial setting (knowledge of chemicals and how paint works).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with electroplating.Knowledge of automation and robotic systems.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
These openings are at the main plant in Red Lion. The facility, although older, is well-maintained and includes robotic welding machines, heavy stamping presses, conveyor systems, and other manual and automated machinery used in the manufacturing process. The environment can be loud, and machinery may be greasy and dirty when maintenance is required.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.49 - $29.00/hr.
