Job Title: Line Operator

Job Description

The line operator is responsible for operating the Oven Room and the adjacent area following the Electro Ceramic Coating (ECC) department. This department rust-proofs furniture to dry and prepare it for painting. The role involves working in a hot environment with overhead hooks, monitoring gauges, and lifting furniture for hook attachment. Additionally, the candidate will learn the intricate process of powder coating furniture to ensure perfect paint placement.

ResponsibilitiesOperate the Oven Room and adjacent areas post-ECC department.Monitor all gauges and lift furniture for hook attachment during the drying process.Learn and execute the powder coating process on furniture.Lift and hang materials on the line, unassisted, handling weights of 60-70 lbs.Monitor approximately 24 electrical boxes, machine functions, and chemical processes including drying temperature and timing.Document all outputs and ensure precision in process and product flow regarding machinery.Maintain attention to detail to prevent over-prepping, over-painting, or damage to furniture.Essential SkillsMachine operation experience (1-2 years).Mechanical inclination (5 years).Powder Coating or Industrial Spray Painting experience (0-1 year).Control Room/Oven Operations experience (0-1 year).Process Manufacturing experience (1-2 years).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in manufacturing or a related field requiring precision.Understanding of mechanical and electrical functions.Flexibility to work alone and maintain a steady pace.Preferred experience in Auto Paint industry for precision in paint application.Cultural fit with a detail-oriented mindset and artistic inclination.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
