Overview of the role:
The (Junior) Paid Social Manager is responsible or supports the end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of paid social campaigns across key client accounts. This role requires deep, hands-on expertise in the major social advertising platforms to deliver measurable client outcomes, drive continuous performance improvement, and translate data insights into clear business recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Platform Knowledge: Plan, launch, and manage complex paid advertising campaigns across major social platforms, including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Snapchat.
+ Budget Management: Oversee campaign budgets, pacing, and flighting, ensuring optimal delivery and efficiency to meet client performance targets.
+ Optimization: Proactively manage bidding strategies, audience targeting (including custom and lookalike audiences), and creative testing frameworks to maximize campaign effectiveness.
+ Testing: Design and execute A/B tests (e.g., creative, copy, audience) and measurement tests to provide data-driven recommendations for future strategy.
+ Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance data, clearly articulating results, insights, and strategic recommendations to internal and client teams.
+ Reporting: Create and present comprehensive weekly and monthly performance reports, focusing on the connection between paid social results and the client's commercial objectives.
+ Data Integrity: Ensure accurate implementation and tracking of campaign measurement tags and parameters, working closely with the Measurement Specialist.
+ Client Communication (limited): Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for operational campaign performance, answering client questions and explaining optimization rationale.
+ Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Media Planners, Account Managers, and Creative teams to ensure media strategy, assets, and overall account goals are fully aligned.
Required Skills and Experience:
+ Minimum of 1–3 years of dedicated, hands-on experience managing large-scale paid social campaigns, preferably within an agency or a fast-paced client environment.
+ Platform Knowledge: Proven technical experience managing campaigns within the Meta Ads Manager. Working knowledge of TikTok, LinkedIn, and/or Pinterest is essential.
+ Analytical Skills: Ability to manage, manipulate, and analyze large datasets in Excel/Google Sheets and translate findings into clear, actionable commercial recommendations.
+ Core Concepts: Understanding of social media advertising fundamentals, including tracking methodologies, audience segmentation, and performance funnel optimization.
+ Real passion for all things digital is essential
+ Is able to work independently but is a great team player
+ Must have an understanding of the Digital environment
+ Good communication skills
+ Basic project management skills
+ Proficient in Excel, Word, Google Suite
+ Is able to work under pressure and deliver great results
+ Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
+ Language skills: fluent in English required; German or other European language (French, Italian): strong plus.
