**Job Title: Production Associate** **Job Description** As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for managing egg cartons on production lines. This involves tasks such as taking egg cartons off belts, stacking them, and assisting in resolving line backups. You will ensure products are not placed on the floor and move products in baskets as needed. Your attention to detail will be critical in performing visual inspections and completing repetitive tasks such as picking and packing products. You will also assist operators in ensuring products are stacked, bundled, and wrapped efficiently. **Responsibilities** + Remove egg cartons from belts and stack them. + Assist in resolving line backups by grabbing cartons off the line. + Ensure products are not placed on the floor and move them in baskets. + Perform visual inspections to maintain quality standards. + Stand, bend, push, and pull objects weighing 25+ lbs. + Complete repetitive tasks such as picking and packing products. + Assist operators in stacking, bundling, and wrapping products. **Essential Skills** + GMP experience + General production experience + Attention to detail + Quality inspection **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Machine operation experience + Mechanical Ability + Forklift experience **Work Schedule** 7:00am-3:00pm Tuesday-Saturday and _Sunday/Monday OFF_ 11:00pm-7:00am Tuesday-Saturday and _Sunday/Monday OFF (.40 differential)_ 3:00pm-11:00pm Tuesday-Saturday and _Sunday/Monday OFF (.50 differential)_ **Why Work Here?** This position offers the potential to become permanent with eligibility for a pay increase and union benefits. The facility fosters a close-knit culture with very little turnover and a supportive maintenance department. **Work Environment** The production facility manufactures egg cartons using recycled paper products. The older section is loud, dark, and non-temperature-controlled, while the new expansion is clean, well-lit, and filled with conveyor belts and machinery. You will experience varying temperatures, being hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Employees must wear steel-toed boots, work uniforms, safety glasses, and hair nets. The team consists of over 220 employees. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Hammond, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
