Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer and Shipper to join our warehouse team. This 1st shift position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including a 30-minute paid lunch break. The role involves receiving, organizing, and preparing shipments efficiently to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Receive all incoming shipments and match them to the appropriate Purchase Orders using data entry.Label products and deliver parts to project shelves, warehouse locations, or designated personnel.Verify that received items match the ordered products and report any documentation errors, shipment discrepancies, or damages promptly.Transfer inventory between warehouse and projects based on BAAN/ERP advice.Organize job shelf parts accurately as specified on production orders for delivery to assembly departments.Assist in cycle counts and component verification as necessary.Pull orders for jobs daily, locate product order numbers in the warehouse, and place them in designated bins for the floor.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 2 years of receiving experience.Proficiency in computer usage.Experience in picking orders.Attention to detail.Ability to operate a forklift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in shipping and receiving.Familiarity with packing and packaging processes.Capability in inventory management.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
