Job Description

Join our team as a Packer, where you will play a crucial role in packaging lip balm and other personal care and pharmaceutical products. This position involves counting, weighing, and performing quality checks to ensure products are correctly packed and labeled. You will be part of a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in the packaging process.

Responsibilities

Pack lip balm and other personal care and pharmaceutical products into boxes.Count and weigh boxes to ensure the correct amount of product is packed.Perform quality checks to ensure labels are applied correctly, without bubbles, and that expiration dates and prints are accurate.Maintain a fast pace to keep up with the production line.Stand for the entire shift and work efficiently to avoid slowing down the line.

Essential Skills

Experience in packing, production, and packaging.Ability to perform general labor tasks including picking, loading, unloading, palletizing, and stacking.Skill in inspecting and labeling products accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience as a packer is preferred.

Work Environment

You will work in a very fast-paced manufacturing environment, standing throughout your shift. A locker will be provided on your first day for storing personal items. You may carry a clear bag containing a calculator, knife, swipe card, and pen. The manufacturing location also serves as the corporate headquarters, offering a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere. The third shift is quieter, requiring team members to work independently with guidance from a supervisor.

This is a Contract position based out of Oak Brook, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.19 - $19.34/hr.
