Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a packer, where you will be an integral part of the production line. You will be responsible for taking products off the line, counting them according to the order sheet, and packing them into boxes ready for shipment to customers. Your role is crucial in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production process.

Responsibilities

Report to your supervisor each shift.Be assigned to a specific production line for the day and be cross-trained across different lines during your initial weeks.Apply labels, stack, and pack boxes while managing scrap parts effectively.Fill out work orders accurately based on the day's production run.

Essential Skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, although most products are very light, typically only up to 20 lbs.Proficient in English to read and understand instructions.Strong counting skills and familiarity with injection moulding and injection molding machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in an industrial environment is preferred.Familiarity with extrusion or injection molding is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom environment where safety glasses are mandatory on the floor. Enjoy a temperature-controlled setting with paid breaks, including one 15-minute and one 30-minute break per shift. Choose from various shifts: 1st shift (7am-3pm), 2nd shift (3pm-11pm), and 3rd shift (11pm-7am).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leominster, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
