Job Description
As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for the final packaging of flavors, including powders, spray dry, liquids, emulsions, and extracts. You will work closely with Batch Processors to ensure food safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy. This role involves operating machinery such as mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks, with a focus on labeling and safety procedures.
ResponsibilitiesPackage finished product quantities with accurate labeling.Operate and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.Record operational and production data as specified.Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas using equipment such as sit-down forklifts.Understand and communicate food safety concerns to shift leads or management.Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment sanitation after each batch.Essential SkillsAbility to read labels and follow safety procedures.Experience in packaging operations and machinery handling.Understanding of food safety protocols.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with GMP in a manufacturing environment.Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials using appropriate equipment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a food GMP environment with noticeable flavor aromas. Employees are required to wear steel-toe shoes, hair nets, and uniforms, with no jewelry allowed. You will have access to a locker for personal belongings. Tasks include lifting and maneuvering materials, with rotations in responsibilities throughout shifts. Packaging Operators work on 1st Shift (6am - 2:30pm) and various other shifts. Be prepared for physical tasks involving 50lb boxes and 55-gallon drums, using hand trucks and forklifts.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
