**Job Title: Packer** **Job Description** In this role, you will be responsible for packing lip balm and other personal care and pharmaceutical products into boxes. You will count the correct number of items to be packed and ensure that the boxes are weighed accurately on certain lines. Additionally, you will perform quality checks to ensure labels are applied correctly without bubbles, verify expiration dates, and check for any misprints. This is a fast-paced position that requires standing for the entire shift, and it is essential to maintain the pace of the production line. **Responsibilities** + Pack lip balm and other products into boxes. + Count the correct number of items for each package. + Weigh boxes on specific lines to ensure accurate counts. + Perform quality checks on labels for correct application and verify expiration dates. + Ensure there are no misprints on products. + Maintain a fast pace to keep up with the production line. **Essential Skills** + Experience in packing, production, and packaging. + Ability to perform general labor tasks such as loading, picking, unloading, and palletizing. + Skills in stacking, inspecting, and labeling products. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience as a packer in a similar environment. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a rewarding work environment where employees are appreciated. You will be provided with a locker on your first day to store your belongings. You may carry a clear bag with essentials such as a calculator, knife, swipecard, and pen. The manufacturing location is also the corporate headquarters. The third shift is smaller and quieter, requiring the team to work independently with only a supervisor present. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Oak Brook, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.19 - $19.34/hr.
