Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Packer, where you will be responsible for packing lip balm and other personal care and pharmaceutical products into boxes. Your role will involve ensuring accurate counts and weights of the products, as well as performing quality checks to verify correct labeling and expiration dates.
ResponsibilitiesPack lip balm and personal care products into boxes.Count and verify the correct amount of products for packing.Weigh boxes to ensure correct counts where applicable.Perform quality checks to ensure labels are placed correctly and there are no bubbles, misprints, or incorrect expiration dates.Maintain a fast-paced work speed and stand throughout the shift to keep the production line running efficiently.Essential SkillsExperience in packing, production, and packaging.Proficiency in picking, general labor, loading, unloading, palletizing, and stacking.Attention to detail for inspecting, labeling, and quality assurance tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience as a packer is beneficial.Ability to work independently, especially on the quieter third shift.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our work environment is fast-paced and requires standing for the entire shift. You will receive a locker on your first day to store personal items, and you can carry a clear bag with essential tools like a calculator, knife, swipe card, and pen. The manufacturing location is also the corporate headquarters, providing a unique work setting. The third shift is smaller, quieter, and requires a high degree of independence, with supervision provided by a single supervisor.

This is a Contract position based out of Oak Brook, Illinois.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.19 - $19.34/hr.
