Packaging Utilities Part Time 2nd Shift
Job Description

Part Time Packaging Utilities are critical to success at Frito Lay! Our Packaging Utilities are responsible for constructing boxes and packing them full of products you already know and love. This position is also responsible for running box forming machines that fold the boxes the product is packed into. In this role, here are some of the frequent tasks you will be doing:

 

Construct boxes and pack them manually or with the help of automated machines

Running and loading 8-10 carton machines that construct boxes.

Perform regular quality checks

Set up lines during a changeover process

Maintain housekeeping and specific sanitation tasks as required

Managing carton inventory and recycling old cardboard cartons

Use of manual or electric pallet jack

We are open 24 hours a day, which means you may not have a typical schedule, and it's a physical job! If you have never worked in a warehouse or manufacturing environment before, you should understand that you will be on your feet the entirety of your shift. Packaging Utilities are expected to stay on the line until relieved for break. We're seeking individuals who are flexible, committed, and safety-focused. Here are the minimum qualifications of this job:

You are 18 years of age or older

You will be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift

You can stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation

You can climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation

You can repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation

As a part time team member, you would work an average of 24-32 hours per week
