Packaging Technician

Location: Allentown, PA

Shifts:

2nd Shift: 3:15 PM – 11:15 PM3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Pay: $18.70–$19.55/hr base + $2/hour (PAPR/Refrigerator work) + $3/hour (Freezer work)

About the Role

We’re looking for motivated, detail‑oriented individuals to join our Packaging team in Allentown. No prior pharmaceutical or manufacturing experience is required—full training is provided. If you're reliable, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a cleanroom environment, this role offers a great opportunity to grow your skills while supporting the safe and accurate packaging of pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities

Full training will be provided to help you confidently:

Follow cGMP standards, SOPs, and customer requirementsMaintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environmentAssemble, fill, package, and label products using both manual and automated equipmentConduct in‑process inspections, including AQL checksComplete basic computer tasks for logging and tracking productionAssist with job start‑ups and closuresClean rooms and equipment according to SOPsCount components and finished productsRead and follow 2D diagrams and batch documentationWork independently or collaboratively to meet production goalsRequirements

No prior pharmaceutical experience is required — training is provided. Candidates should have:

Strong hand‑eye coordination and attention to detailAbility to perform repetitive tasks with both handsBasic math skills (fractions, percentages, addition, etc.)Ability to read and understand English instructions and safety proceduresPhysical ability to:Stand for long periodsLift/carry up to 50 lbsBend, squat, and reach overheadComfort working in Primary, Secondary, Refrigerated (2–8°C), and Frozen (-20°C) environments (up to 80% in freezer if needed)Ability to wear PPE such as cleanroom garments, N‑95 or PAPR respirators, and safety glassesPreferred QualitiesWillingness to learn and adaptReliability and strong work ethicOpenness to feedbackJob Type

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.55/hr.
