Job Title: Packaging Technician (1st Shift)

Sunday–Wednesday, 5:00am–3:30pmWednesday–Saturday, 5:00am–3:30pmJob Description

We are hiring two Packaging Technicians to support our 1st shift operations. This role is responsible for monitoring and emptying bins and glass sifters, ensuring the correct beads are filled, packaged, and staged for shipment, and handling materials using a forklift. Training will be provided to develop equipment and packaging competencies as needed.

ResponsibilitiesOperate a forklift to move materials, stage product, and support packaging operations (training provided).Monitor, empty, and maintain bins and glass sifters.Fill, seal, label, and package beads according to specifications.Stage finished product for shipment and ensure accurate identification.Perform basic equipment checks and support daily packaging workflow.Assist with production and material‑handling tasks as needed.Essential SkillsExperience with hand tools and power tools.1+ year experience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment.General labor, packaging, or production experience.Mechanical aptitude and basic inspection ability.Experience with filling, packing, or line inspection processes.Additional QualificationsReliable, self‑motivated, and willing to learn.Strong attendance and work ethic required.Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.Forklift experience is a plus (training available).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MUSCATINE, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.74 - $18.74/hr.
