Shifts Available:

2nd Shift: 3:15 PM – 11:15 PM3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Pay: Competitive base pay + $2/hour for PAPR/Refrigerator work and $3/hour for Freezer work

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Technician to join our team in Allentown. This role is critical in ensuring the highest quality standards for pharmaceutical products through precise assembly, packaging, and labeling processes in a cleanroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:Follow cGMP, SOPs, and customer requirements in all tasks.Comply with safety regulations and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.Assemble, fill, package, and label pharmaceutical products (manual or automated).Perform in-process inspections (including AQL checks) and approve or reject products.Complete computer tasks for sign-in, data entry, and job tracking.Assist with start-up and closure of packaging jobs.Clean packaging rooms and equipment per SOPs and GMP standards.Accurately count components and products.Read and interpret 2D diagrams and batch paperwork for correct assembly.Work independently or as part of a team to meet production goals.RequirementsStrong hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and attention to detail.Ability to perform repetitive tasks with both hands.Working mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages).Ability to read, comprehend, and execute English work documents (SOPs, work instructions, safety procedures).Physical ability to:Stand continuouslyLift/carry up to 50 lbsBend, squat, and reach above shoulder levelComfortable working in Primary, Secondary, Refrigerated (2–8°C), and Frozen (-20°C) environments (up to 80% of the day in a freezer if needed).Ability to gown and work in a cleanroom environmentPPE certification required (including filtering face masks, PAPR, N-95 masks, half-face masks, safety glasses).Preferred QualitiesInitiative and adaptability to changing circumstances.Ability to accept and learn from feedback, including Corrective or Preventative Actions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Allentown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.70 - $19.55/hr.
