Medical Manufacturing Company Urgently Looking for Packaging Technicians in Mahwah, NJ on First Shift

Location: Mahwah, NJShift: 7am-3:30pm (Monday-Friday)Pay: $18-$20/hour ; Overtime: $27-$30/hour

Job Description

The Packaging Technician will be responsible for labeling and packing finished products to ensure efficient operation of the packaging process. This position involves preparing finished products for order fulfillment and completing documentation for the sterilization of finished products. The role demands solid execution of company programs consistent with overall company values.

ResponsibilitiesVerify line clearance of packaging area prior to starting packaging operations.Label individual and bulk finished products.Final package finished products in associated boxes with instructions and labels.Complete documentation related to packaging and labeling.Maintain cleanliness and organization of packaging and labeling area.Assist with various projects and other duties as assigned.Quarantine in-process materials based on inspection or test results.Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.Essential SkillsMaterial handling expertise.Experience in a cGMP environment.Understanding of manufacturing and labeling process.Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to follow written and oral instructions.Additional Skills & QualificationsLabel printing experience.Proficiency in label printing software.Solid understanding of warehousing and logistics.High degree of professionalism, maturity, and confidentiality.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Located in Mahwah, NJ, the Packaging Technician will work in the Final Packaging department with shift hours from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The role involves physical tasks such as standing, walking, and occasionally lifting office products and supplies up to 50 pounds. The work environment is team-oriented, promoting collaboration and effective communication.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
