Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare manufacturing industry, is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the Packaging Department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork skills, and a proactive approach to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Packaging Operator
**Location:** Sparks Glencoe, MD
**Pay Range:** $19.88
**Shift:** Monday - Thursday, 6am - 4:30pm (10-hour shifts)
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products to ensure quality and compliance.
+ Execute finished product packaging in accordance with established procedures and quality specifications.
+ Inspect in-process packaging and components, removing defective items to maintain product integrity.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing activities, including device history records and inventory counts.
+ Assist with inventory counting activities and participate in safety audits and daily safety discussions.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.
+ Minimum of 2 years of industry work experience.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
+ Good documentation practices and familiarity with basic mathematical calculations.
+ Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime and rotating shifts.
