Job Title: Packaging OperatorJob Description

As a Packaging Operator, you will assist the Packaging Technician in operating the production line. Your role will include performing various supporting functions such as housekeeping, ensuring component traceability, clearing basic jams on the production line, and feeding the production line with necessary materials. Additionally, you will operate an aerial lift when needed, with certification provided.

ResponsibilitiesAssist with all supporting functions in operating the production line.Follow all applicable waste, scrap reduction, and recycling guidelines.Ensure component traceability.Clear basic jams on the production line and restart the machine.Feed the production line with material as necessary.Operate the aerial lift as necessary.Essential SkillsExperience in packaging, production, labeling, packing, and assembly.Ability to stand and walk frequently throughout the shift.Capability to lift up to 25lbs frequently.Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and turning in performance of duties.Comfortable climbing stairs and crossovers.Additional Skills & QualificationsProper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is always required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work is conducted indoors in a factory/production setting with seasonably normal temperatures. The role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, reaching, bending, twisting, and turning. Climbing stairs and crossovers is common, and proper use of PPE is always required. The position is for the weekend PM shift, from 7pm to 7:30am, Friday through Sunday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
