**Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company Urgently Hiring Machine Operators on First Shift!** **Location:** Whippany, NJ **Shift:** 6am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday) **Pay:** $24/hour ; Overtime: $36/hour **Job Description** As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for the operation of various production, packaging, and material handling equipment to facilitate the slitting, packaging, and shipping of films. Your role is essential in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our production processes. **Responsibilities** + Operate slitting and packaging machines/equipment. + Inspect and measure products to verify conformance to specifications. + Maintain quality records and batch files. + Ensure correct data entry in CAT system. + Operate quality equipment/tools needed to perform necessary quality checks and record results. + Perform preventive maintenance and maintenance responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor. + Identify faulty equipment, products, and processes and inform the Supervisor immediately. + Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safety Rules and Regulations. + Clean production, packaging, shipping, receiving, and break areas to ensure compliance with GMP. + Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production and packaging operations. + Ability to handle materials and use hand tools. + Proficiency in operating production machinery. + Familiarity with general production processes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + General Education Degree or one-year certificate from a college or technical school preferred. + One to three years of related experience and/or training. + Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $49920.00/yr. During the first calendar year of employment, your paid time off is prorated based on a maximum of 168 hours.
