**Job Title: Packaging Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Operator to efficiently monitor and manage downstream packaging, capping, and casing equipment. The role involves ensuring quality standards through periodic package and case integrity tests, setting up and changing over equipment and supplies, and performing rework and sanitation duties. The operator will also be responsible for the efficient operation of an automated system, troubleshooting problems using a computer touch screen. **Responsibilities** + Monitor and manage downstream packaging, capping, and casing equipment. + Ensure quality standards by performing periodic package and case integrity tests. + Set up and change over equipment and supplies. + Perform rework and sanitation duties as required. + Efficiently operate automated systems. + Troubleshoot problems using computer touch screens. **Essential Skills** + Proven attention to detail. + Ability to read and comprehend English work instructions. + Capability to work 12-hour shifts on feet. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in packaging, warehouse, production, general labor, assembly, packing, labeling, and general production. **Work Environment** This position is set in a fast-paced food production environment, where you will monitor the packaging line and product as it comes out of the packaging machine.
