Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the operations team supporting the production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Packaging Operator
**Location:** Sparks Glencoe, MD
**Pay Range:** $19.88 + $0.55 shift differential
**What's the Job?**
+ Move required materials from defined storage or staging areas to workspace using material handling equipment.
+ Package final products into end-user containers per approved Standard Manufacturing Procedures (SMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
+ Set up, operate, and clean production equipment including weighing scales and filling equipment.
+ Maintain accurate production records and logs following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
+ Ensure final products meet specified weight tolerances and quality standards.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environment.
+ Ability to perform heavy lifting and handling during an 8-hour shift.
+ Capability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for a significant portion of the workday.
+ Must be able to pass physical examinations for forklift operations and respirator fit tests.
