**Job Title: Packaging Operator - 2nd Shift** **Job Description** Join our team as a Packaging Operator where you will play a vital role in producing our renowned sweet potato chips fried in avocado oil, free from the top 9 most common allergens. You will oversee various operations including Alpma machines, brine systems, and filling forms, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation to uphold our high standards. This role involves setting up and operating high-speed packaging machines to make bags for the chips, and performing minor troubleshooting to identify and resolve machine stops or jams. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate high-speed packaging machines. + Oversee Alpma machines, brine systems, and filling forms. + Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in compliance with high standards. + Perform minor troubleshooting to resolve machine stops or jams. + Manage and operate specific machinery in the production line. + Follow all safety, sanitation, and production procedures. + Ensure accurate record-keeping and quality control. + Communicate effectively with team members and management. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of machine operating experience, preferably in GMP environments. + Experience with packaging machine operations. + Ability to perform changeovers and adjust feeds and speeds. + Basic troubleshooting skills. + Experience in high-speed manufacturing. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). + Experience with filling machines. + Proficiency in adjusting feeds and speeds during operations. + Experience with changeovers. **Why Work Here?** Experience a friendly and inclusive culture where employees are valued. Adhere to GMP standards with appropriate attire including hair nets, beard nets, smocks, hard hats, and steel-toed shoes. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.50/hr.
