YOUR ROLE

As Packaging Manager on our team: The Packaging Manager will lead a cross-functional team of 7 engineers and buyers, responsible for managing our packaging solutions across North, Central, and South America. This role oversees an annual budget of approximately $50 million. The team designs and manages both expendable and returnable packaging solutions. Key responsibilities include packaging design, standard pack optimization, commercial negotiations with packaging vendors, and returnable fleet management. The primary objective is to minimize packaging costs while ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.

In your daily job you will:

Lead and manage the packaging team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Oversee the design, optimization, and implementation of packaging solutions. Conduct commercial negotiations and manage contracts with packaging vendors.

Monitor and manage the returnable fleet to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.

Develop strategies to minimize packaging spend while maintaining product quality.

YOUR BACKGROUND
