Job Title: Packaging Associates (Openings on 1st and 3rd shift)

Pay $17.50-19/hour starting out.

Job Description

This position operates packaging equipment, packages product per instructions in packaging records and maintains a clean and sanitized area in the production sites.

Responsibilities

Fill/Pack, and Clean/Sanitization of production: Performs packaging activities per instructions in master packaging records and quality system procedures. Maintain, clean, and sanitize areas in the production suites. Trained on operational features of the packaging lines equipment; ability to start, run, and stop the equipment.

Essential Skills

1 to 2 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience.1 to 2 years of experience ensuring proper loading, packing, and securing of materials on trailers.Proficient with various computer applications, scanners, and tablets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in general labor, unloading, loading, assembly, production. Prior packaging experience. Ability to positively motivate, direct, and assist the team.

Work Environment

The role involves loading and staging trucks. It requires standing throughout the entire shift, with short distance walking. Lifting and stacking.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Lawrence, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42120.00 - $45240.00/yr.

Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays from day one, tuition reimbursement, and a 401k plan (with an automatic 3% company contribution, regardless of your contribution after your first year of employment) among others.
