**Job Title: Packaging Assistant** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a Packaging Assistant, where you will be cross-trained on multiple packaging lines, including Variety Pack Lines, Boxmakers, Tray Packers, and Line 7 Climax. You will play an essential role in our Packaging Department, ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and machinery to meet our production goals. **Responsibilities** + Operate Packaging Department equipment/machinery safely and efficiently. + Collaborate in a team environment and maintain positive working relationships. + Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements. + Conduct thorough sanitation duties, cleaning all equipment using foaming equipment, hoses, and necessary chemicals. + Communicate effectively with coworkers via face-to-face interactions, phones, and radios. + Perform tasks in confined spaces, such as the Pasteurizer. + Adapt to changes productively and handle additional essential tasks as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience with packaging line operations, production, and assembly line processes. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to shift priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Proficiency in computer systems and automated equipment. + Capability to lift up to 60 lbs repetitively and stand, twist, and bend for 90% of the work schedule. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Knowledge of production processes. + Availability to support shift, weekend, and holiday schedules. + Self-starter with a proactive approach. + Experience working collaboratively in a team environment. + Ability to work overtime, including 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays. + Tolerance for varying temperature conditions. **Why Work Here?** Our workplace values people as the most important asset. Shifts are structured as follows: A: Sun, Mon, Tues 5:45am-6pm every other Sat; B: Wed, Thurs, Fri 5:45am-6pm every other Sat; C: Sun, Mon, Tues 5:45pm-6am every other Sat; D: Wed, Thurs, Fri 5:45pm-6am every other Sat. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Breinigsville, PA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.40/hr.
