**Job Title: Packager/Operator** **Job Description** In this role, you will work collaboratively with a team of 2-5 individuals on a Roll Forming machine to efficiently package finished materials such as metal shingles, siding, and gutters. Each machine is operated by a Machine Operator II, with support from 2-5 Packagers (Machine Operator I). You will perform visual quality checks to ensure there are no manufacturing defects. **Responsibilities** + Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced environment. + Construct boxes, package, palletize, and move products efficiently. + Operate power tools including drills, staple guns, and pneumatic tools with proficiency. + Adapt to working with various machines and different groups daily. + Perform quality checks and measure parts accurately. **Essential Skills** + Experience in packaging, production, and machine operation. + Strong attention to detail. + Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment. + Ability to work well with others and perform general labor tasks. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. + Mechanical aptitude. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6+ months experience in a manufacturing/production environment. + Ability to perform basic mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. + Capability to read and understand tape measures and calculators. + Bilingual in Spanish and English is advantageous. **Why Work Here?** Benefit from an attractive 401k match of up to 15%, influenced by company performance, with a 5% automatic match and up to an additional 10% based on profit sharing. The space is not temperature controlled, with doors open during the summer months. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hopkins, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
