Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our packaging team in an industrial setting. This role involves working on the end of a packaging line, ensuring that steel products are packaged according to customer specifications. The position is on the first shift and offers paid breaks.

Responsibilities
Package steel by banding large plates to meet customer specifications.Learn and adhere to customer requirements for each order, including skidding wood runners and waterproof paper usage.Collaborate with another packager to complete the packaging of 50 to 100 bundles daily.Handle steel plates or sheets weighing between 2,000 to 5,000 lbs per bundle.Use plastic banding for 99% of packaging tasks.Read work instructions and coordinate with the team lead.Operate a stacker machine, hand tools, nail gun, and stapler.Utilize overhead cranes and tow motors for material handling.Essential Skills
Experience in packaging and general labor within a manufacturing environment.Ability to lift 50 lbs and work with hand tools.Familiarity with crane operation and overhead crane usage.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in steel manufacturing.Forklift operation experience.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Steel toe boots are required.Why Work Here?

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
