Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as 'stick pack' packer/sorters. This role involves packaging products that resemble liquid IV or Crystal Lite packets. The primary task is to pack each box according to customer specifications, typically in sets of 7 or 32. Candidates must be able to accurately count and maintain focus throughout the process.

ResponsibilitiesPack boxes with 'stick pack' products according to customer specifications.Hand count to 7 or 32 to ensure accurate packaging.Remain focused and attentive during the packing process.Engage in sorting, packing, and inventory management.Perform general labor tasks including picking, assembly, loading, labeling, and inspection.Operate in a cleanroom environment and handle tasks such as filling and unloading.Essential SkillsAbility to lift 25 lbs or more comfortably.Experience in packing, lifting, and labeling boxes.Proficiency in counting to 32.High attention to detail and ability to maintain focus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment includes both temperature-controlled and non-temperature-controlled cleanroom manufacturing floors. Employees in the Human Plant may be exposed to raw ingredients and food allergens such as milk, egg, peanut, tree nut, fish, shellfish, soy, and wheat. Shifts are available as follows: 1st Shift: 5am-3:30pm (Mon.-Thurs.) with optional overtime on Friday, 2nd Shift: 4pm-2:30am (Mon.-Thurs.) with optional overtime on Friday. Orientation takes place from 9am-1pm, after which employees will transition to their designated shift. The role includes an unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute breaks per shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Adrian, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
