Job Description

As a Packager, you will work on a production line, focusing on packaging food products. You will be responsible for boxing, stacking, and ensuring quality control of packaged goods. The role involves repetitive tasks and requires working in a fast-paced environment with machinery.

ResponsibilitiesPackage food products on a production line.Box packaged food products.Stack packaged food onto pallets, involving overhead lifting of up to 10 lbs.Work in temperatures ranging from 8-10 degrees.Operate in a room with consistently running machinery such as conveyors.Rotate positions within the production line as needed.Complete paperwork and document defects, waste, and quality control while packaging.Handle frozen products, including lifting and placing them into carts.Assist with labeling and sleeving products before packaging them into boxes and adding them to pallets, which may involve lifting up to 40 lbs.Essential SkillsExperience in packaging, manufacturing, or production line work.Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift 40 lbs repetitively.Proficiency in English.Wearing steel toe footwear is mandatory.Comfortable working in 8-10 degree temperatures and around constant machinery noise.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in food packaging is advantageous but not required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role is based in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility with numerous conveyors and continuously running machinery. The environment is very multicultural, and the temperature is maintained between 8-10 degrees. The dress code includes steel toe work boots, lab coats, hair nets, gloves, and beard nets if necessary, with no jewelry allowed. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, requiring arrival by 6:15 AM for a pre-shift meeting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.60 - $18.60/hr.
