CDL Local Delivery Driver – Medical Equipment & Liquid Oxygen

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Driver to join our Transfill Division. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Safely transport liquid oxygen, medical equipment, and supplies to Rotech locations within your region.Load, secure, and deliver cargo in compliance with DOT, FDA, and company safety standards.Maintain accurate delivery documentation and ensure timely order fulfillment.Keep your truck and trailer clean, organized, and in safe working condition.Participate in hazardous material handling and vendor certification training.Identify and report equipment or vehicle safety concerns.Support quality improvement initiatives and uphold JCAHO standards.Provide coverage for other drivers during PTO as needed.Why Drive for Rotech?Local routes – be home dailyMission-driven work – support healthcare delivery across your regionCompetitive pay, training, and benefitsStable schedule with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED equivalent, requiredPossession of a valid CDL with a clean driving record in your state of residenceMust meet DOT qualifications for commercial drivingValid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean record (required)

Preferred Education and/or Experience

Three years of professional driving experience (preferred)Hazmat endorsement preferred—if not currently held, must be willing to obtain after hire

Skills & Abilities

Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)Ability to interpret instructions and communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and patientsBasic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn about medical equipmentAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionOrganized, self-motivated, and capable of managing time and tasks independentlyComfortable performing basic math calculations

Physical Demands

Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs regularlyMust be able to sit, stand, walk, talk, and listen throughout the workdayRequires close vision for reading paperwork and digital screensMust be able to load, unload, push, pull, and transport equipmentWill spend the majority of the workday driving a company vehicle

Technical Proficiency

Familiarity with email and internet navigationBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)Ability to operate office equipment (fax, copier, printer, phone, tablet)Experience operating vehicles 26,001 GVW and aboveComfortable using machinery for loading/unloadingUnderstanding of home medical equipment and supplies (preferred)
