Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Driver to join our Transfill Division. If you're looking for a local driving role with purpose—delivering life-sustaining oxygen and medical equipment to healthcare locations—this is the opportunity for you.

What You’ll DoSafely transport liquid oxygen, medical equipment, and supplies to Rotech locations within your region.Load, secure, and deliver cargo in compliance with DOT, FDA, and company safety standards.Maintain accurate delivery documentation and ensure timely order fulfillment.Keep your truck and trailer clean, organized, and in safe working condition.Participate in hazardous material handling and vendor certification training.Identify and report equipment or vehicle safety concerns.Support quality improvement initiatives and uphold JCAHO standards.Provide coverage for other drivers during PTO as needed.What You BringValid CDL license with a clean driving recordExperience with medical gas transport or hazmat delivery (preferred)Strong attention to safety, detail, and customer serviceAbility to lift and move equipment as neededCommitment to compliance and professional standardsWhy Drive for Rotech?Local routes – be home dailyMission-driven work – support healthcare delivery across your regionCompetitive pay, training, and benefitsStable schedule with opportunities for growthReady to drive with purpose? Completion of a company-wide background checkPassing a 10-panel DOT drug screenPossession of a valid CDL with a clean driving record in your state of residenceQualificationsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED (required)Must meet DOT qualifications for commercial driving1–3 years of professional driving experience (preferred)Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean record (required)Hazmat endorsement preferred—if not currently held, must be willing to obtain after hireSkills & AbilitiesStrong communication skills in English (verbal and written)Ability to interpret instructions and communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and patientsBasic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn about medical equipmentAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionOrganized, self-motivated, and capable of managing time and tasks independentlyComfortable performing basic math calculationsPhysical DemandsAbility to lift and move up to 100 lbs regularlyMust be able to sit, stand, walk, talk, and listen throughout the workdayRequires close vision for reading paperwork and digital screensMust be able to load, unload, push, pull, and transport equipmentWill spend the majority of the workday driving a company vehicleTechnical ProficiencyFamiliarity with email and internet navigationBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)Ability to operate office equipment (fax, copier, printer, phone, tablet)Experience operating vehicles 26,001 GVW and aboveComfortable using machinery for loading/unloadingUnderstanding of home medical equipment and supplies (preferred)Would you like this version formatted into a Word document or added to a full job posting template?
