Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Owner Liaison for the Pacific Monarch in Honolulu, HI. Position Summary: The Owner Liaison serves as the primary point of contact between unit owners, the hotel, and the AOAO. This role supports positive owner relationships by providing clear communication, coordinating unit-related matters, and ensuring compliance with AOAO governing documents, Hawaiʻi statutes, and hotel operating standards. The Owner Liaison balances owner needs with operational requirements while representing the property with professionalism, care, and aloha. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities: + Act as the main point of contact for unit owners regarding AOAO matters, hotel operations, and unit-related inquiries. + Respond to owner questions and concerns in a timely, courteous, and solution-focused manner. + Maintain regular communication with owners regarding policies, operational updates, and property initiatives. + Assist owners with understanding AOAO governing documents, house rules, and policies in accordance with Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes Chapter 514B. + Support compliance with AOAO requirements, hotel brand standards, and rental program guidelines. + Coordinate with the AOAO Board, managing agent, and property leadership as needed. + Coordinate unit access, inspections, and maintenance between owners, hotel departments, and approved vendors. + Track unit-related requests and follow through to resolution. + Maintain accurate records of owner communications, unit status, and maintenance history. + Support owners participating in the rental or management program by coordinating unit readiness and operational requirements. + Assist with onboarding new owners and communicating expectations related to rentals. + Serve as a liaison between owners and hotel operations regarding unit condition and operational standards. + Assist with owner meetings, town halls, and AOAO-related communications. + Prepare correspondence, reports, and documentation for management and AOAO leadership. + Maintain organized and confidential owner records. + Performs other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: + Knowledge of condominium hotel and AOAO operations, including governing documents, house rules, and policies. + Knowledge of hospitality operations and how owner units interact with hotel services. + Familiarity with Hawaiʻi AOAO regulations (HRS Chapter 514B) preferred. + Understanding of customer service principles and conflict resolution practices. + Working knowledge of basic property management and maintenance coordination processes. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. + Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. + Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail. + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and property management systems. + Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with unit owners, management, vendors, and hotel staff. + Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive owner and AOAO matters. + Ability to balance owner expectations with AOAO requirements and operational needs. + Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. + Ability to remain calm and professional when addressing concerns or resolving conflicts. + Ability to adapt to changing priorities and perform other duties as assigned. + Fluency in Japanese (verbal and written) required to effectively communicate with Japanese-speaking unit owners regarding AOAO matters, unit issues, and hotel operations. Education / Experience: + Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred. + Minimum of two (2) years of experience in hospitality, property management, owner relations, or a related role. + Prior experience in a condominium hotel or AOAO environment strongly preferred. + Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. + Fluency in Japanese (verbal and written) strongly preferred to support communication with Japanese-speaking unit owners.
