Schedule: 2‑2‑3 rotating nights | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Utilities Technician to support the safe and efficient operation of all major site utility systems. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting steam boilers, thermal oxidizers, compressed air systems, ammonia and glycol refrigeration, building HVAC, wastewater treatment systems, and general facility infrastructure.
You will also ensure all relevant documentation and logs meet OSHA and EPA compliance requirements.
This is a hands‑on, critical role for a skilled technician who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment and enjoys varied work across an entire facility.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain site utilities including steam boilers, thermal oxidizers, compressed air systems, and refrigeration units.Monitor and respond to the ammonia refrigeration system to ensure safe and compliant operation.Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems across the facility.Perform general facility maintenance (lighting replacements, roof leak repair, office fixes, etc.).Use technical manuals, schematics, and drawings for preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and system data in computer-based platforms.Support overall plant reliability and respond to needs throughout a large production facility.Essential Skills & Experience2+ years of experience with HVAC, combustion, and refrigeration systems.5+ years of mechanical, electrical & instrumentation (E&I), or maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong proficiency in refrigeration, boilers, facilities maintenance, and HVAC systems.Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems (strong plus).Ability to perform preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and detailed troubleshooting.Preferred QualificationsExperience in food manufacturing.Familiarity with OSHA/EPA regulatory compliance.Electrical and instrumentation (E&I) experience.Why You’ll Love Working HereWe offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well‑being, and long‑term financial stability, including:

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $83360.00 - $83360.00/yr.
