As a flex associate , you will be part of the Production department supporting their packaging operations. (based on experience) **_Job Description:_** Uses powered and manual material handling equipment to move materials throughout the facility through the use of radio frequency device. **_Essential Functions:_** 1. Loads and unloads materials shipped to and from interplant and outside facilities 2. Efficiently operates manual and power material handling equipment (reach trucks, transporters, pallet jacks) to retrieve, put away and replenish materials throughout the facility. 3. Operates VDT (video display terminal) and/or RF (radio frequency) devices to accurately put away, replenish, store, retrieve and ship materials using Exacta system. 4. Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and stock control as required. 5. Completes a Pre-Shift Checklist on all powered material handling equipment including battery water, charging and cleaning. 6. Completes documentation as required. 7. Follows all safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) 8. Communicates with co-workers in areas of function. 9. Performs various other duties as assigned including assisting with the training of new employees 10.
