**Material Handler**
**Job Description**
In this role, you will be responsible for the loading and unloading of heavy parts, utilizing sit-down forklifts to transport large metal parts across various sections of the production floor. You will also rig and secure large parts to trucks for shipment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Label parts for shipment.
+ Inspect and package parts for shipment.
+ Document inventory levels and shipments in the computer system.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience with sit-down forklifts handling large parts.
+ Experience in unloading, shipping, material handling, and rigging.
+ Familiarity with overhead cranes and receiving processes.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 2+ years of experience with 10-20 ton overhead cranes is preferred.
+ Willingness to learn if lacking specific experience.

**Work Environment**
This position is for the 2nd shift, operating from 2pm to 10pm in a large manufacturing environment. Steel-toed shoes and hearing protection are required.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, WI.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
