Job Title: Outside Sales Representative
Job Description
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will maintain ongoing communication with current clients, proactively reaching out to understand their plumbing or water-related concerns and recommending appropriate solutions. You will utilize company pricing tools and insurance parameters to prepare accurate, competitive estimates for repairs or replacements, guiding customers toward the best option and securing the sale. This role requires you to be a knowledgeable point of contact, offering clear and reliable information to help customers make informed decisions. You will also utilize prospecting tools to follow up on leads for residential and commercial clients experiencing water damage or plumbing issues.
Responsibilities
Identify opportunities to repair or replace sewer lines for residential and commercial properties.Perform video inspections of sewer systems to evaluate issues such as root intrusion, structural damage, or other conditions that may require excavation or line replacement.Identify and present solutions for addressing water-related property damage in homes and businesses.Conduct on-site evaluations to measure moisture levels, determine the extent of damage, and assess whether demolition, drying, or other restoration steps are necessary.Essential Skills
1+ years of customer interfacing sales experience.Self-discipline and resilience.Ability to learn on the fly.Results-oriented with a clear understanding of weekly goals and steps to achieve them.High level of awareness to communicate effectively with homeowners and insurance companies.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with water restoration and the ability to articulate technical information in a way that is easy for customers to understand.Ability to run a sewage line camera and remove toilets when necessary.Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) License (company assists with application process).ISCRC certifications within the first 6 months (company pays for certification).Work Environment
IYou are expected to come into the office once a week for sales meetings and paperwork submissions. The team consists of 14 sales/field supervisors, with 10 in excavation and 4 in water restoration. The role requires flexibility to work nights and weekends, as these are the busiest times. Training lasts 4-6 weeks, with a focus on performance-based sales and achieving goals. A company vehicle is provided for excavation roles, while water restoration roles receive mileage reimbursement. The company offers a comprehensive support system, including paid certifications and a travel voucher for achieving sales targets.
