Job Title: Field Sales Development Representative
Job Description
This is a great opportunity to join a new delivery program launching in the area. As a Field Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for recruiting local businesses to join a partner program. You will collaborate with a Field Manager and other local contractors to engage prospective businesses, pitch program opportunities, qualify participants, and guide them through the application process. Your role will also involve driving referrals through community organizations and coordinating recruitment events. This position requires travel up to two hours driving distance and offers the potential to earn commission.
Responsibilities
Visit prospective businesses door-to-door in targeted towns, up to two hours driving distance.Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses to generate interest and applications.Qualify prospective businesses and guide them through the application process while managing leads and activity in Salesforce.Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting recruitment events, such as lunch and learns and town hall meetings.Collaborate with local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations.Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce weekly.Raise the bar for the delivery experience in complex last-mile scenarios.Essential Skills
1-2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service.Experience in outside/field sales is required.CRM experience is required, with Salesforce preferred.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.Prior experience in roles involving sales and/or negotiation with customers is a plus.Professionalism, enthusiasm for teamwork, and a high sense of urgency.Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities for field applicants.Tech-savvy with experience working with multiple systems and technology.Ability to travel up to four hours round trip daily.Work Environment
This role involves being on the road 4-5 days a week, with the remainder of the time working from home. A position is available near Burlington, IA. The work environment includes reimbursement for phone expenses and mileage at $0.70 per mile.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.50 - $26.00/hr.
