What will you be doing?
+ **Lead Generation & Prospecting**
+ Identify, approach, and engage potential residential or commercial customers.
+ Conduct door-to-door outreach, field marketing, community events, and in-person consultations.
+ Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects.
+ **Consultation & Sales**
+ Assess customer energy needs and provide customized solar solutions.
+ Educate customers about system designs, environmental benefits, financial incentives, and ROI.
+ Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
+ Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to contract signing.
+ **Customer Relationship Management**
+ Maintain strong follow-up communication to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
+ Work closely with design, engineering, and installation teams to support project success.
+ Utilize CRM tools to track activities, leads, and sales metrics.
+ **Market & Industry Knowledge**
+ Stay informed on solar technologies, state/federal incentives, utility policies, and industry trends.
+ Represent the company at local events, trade shows, and community outreach programs.What do you bring?
+ Proven success in outside sales, field sales, or direct customer-facing roles (solar or renewable energy experience a plus).
+ Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
+ High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
+ Comfortable working outdoors and conducting in-person consultations.
+ Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them in simple terms.
+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
**Preferred Skills**
+ Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
